Of course you should get it, it blows Mac's Snow Leopard out of the water of course that is just my opinion from someone who has used both. It utilizes memory better, and in general is much faster.

But on mac you can run Windows 7.

You can't run Snow Leopard on Windows 7.

Gotcha beat right there.

All advantages Windows 7 has cannot be taken into consideration, because Mac has it all.

I was thinking about getting a Mac, but I hate the mouse design for the laptops...

It doesn't feel right having no buttons. That's why I hate typing on an iPhone, because you don't feel the buttons getting pressed down...

I was thinking about getting a Mac, but I hate the mouse design for the laptops...

In windows 7 with 4GB or ram you could run...

Linux in Snow Leopard, in windows XP, in widows 7, beat that.

Yeah, if you are a computer whiz (I am 8P) it is really easy to notice the differences otherwise it doesn't matter to most people. 8P

You drag one window to one side of the monitor and it should fill half. Then drag the other one to the other side, etc. Does anyone have windows 7? Icon_biggrin

While did you try Ubuntu's website 8P, that would help a lot.

Also if you want my advice on that computer you linked to...
I know a fair deal about computers and networking as I have had/worked with many different computers including Mac, Windows 95, 98, 2000, xp, vista, 7, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, puppy dog Linux and many other variations and have built a computer and have been offered an internship at a computer repair center. I would suggest you would not buy that netbook because in layman's terms, it a piece of junk. I would not even buy a new computer if you are looking to use Linux (unless you really want a netbook) then I would buy an HP or Acer netbook as they are currently the best on the market. I would just install Linux on your current computer (Utilizes resources much better than its rivals) or dual-boot or tri-boot or even set it up as a VM (providing your processor supports VMs) instead of wasting money on a new system that is basically just an IPhone with a larger screen that has less storage space.

Just my opinion from someone who knows a bit about computers, don't want you to waste your money. 8P

Well then, I hope Apple gets their rumerd <- (Or however you spell it.) Tablet out soon. I hate using the touch-pad and would much prefer a touchscreen.

That is, Unless anyone knows of a tablet that acts as a full computer without being more than 10in and 3.5lbs

Oh, and btw, my current computer is about 4 years old...
