Shadow of the Colossus
It's such an amazing game. Just got it today and I've killed three of them.
The game is just so emotionally powerful, and it feels so realistic, even though its PS2. The monsters are NOT repetitive, as I was told, and use unique concepts on each one. And hunting them down in the massive open-world is exhilarating.
This game might temporarily end my LBP addiction.

Sounds pretty darn addicting if it takes you off LBP.

Re: Shadow of the Colossus
It's not really the addiction factor, as in in I want to play it over and over, its just a lust to see what's next. The story is so minimalist, but I long to know how it ends, and the Colossi are all so unique, and startlingly realistic. Also, the thrill of victory and battle is unparalleled. I find myself cheering as I slay some of these creatures.
Btw, I've killed three more. I now have 6 killed. The next one seems like it'll be some underwater-snake-thingy.

Yup igor.
I'm on the 7th or 8th now, but had to give up because I couldn't figure out what I had to do.

You should remake it on LBP if you like it so much.

Re: Shadow of the Colossus
It would be impossible.
Really.
Half the fun is exploring the open world.
Not to mention how difficult building the Colossi would be.

Re: Shadow of the Colossus
I officially I am on the last Colossi.
I can't wait to kill it and find out the ending tomorrow.
ColinPD, SotC is impossible in LBP. I would have to create a mechanic to make it so after hanging on something for so long you fall, some sort of chargeable sword, not to mention how hard it would be to create the monsters.
Only one Colosi stands out as half-possible. The one that flies over the desert. I MIGHT attempt making that.

I would have to create a mechanic to make it so after hanging on something for so long you fall...
Easy. Make whatever you are hanging from out of dissolve material. Put a directional grab switch on that dissolve.
Now make (or use, if you have one) a timer. Create a square of dark matter, and a block of wood a couple big grid units away. Attatch them with a stiff piston. Set the time that it takes to shorten completely to the disired time you want Sackboy to hold on before falling (EG, if you want Sackboy to hold on for three seconds and then fall, make the piston's time three seconds).
Now put a magnetic key on the block of wood, and a magnetic switch on the dark matter. Ajust the proximity range so that the switch is triggered when the piston fully retracts.
Finally, connect the grab switch to the piston. You may need to set it to inverted, I forget. Connect the magnetic switch to the dissolve.
Ta-da!

To hang from a cliff simply use some re-emitted dissolve material with a grab switch on it that is linked to an emited timed delay.
As for the charged sword... I'm not sure how to explain it... It would pretty much sense a certain attack movement you would have to do...
(You gota use a jetpack with the sword or it aint going to works!)

Yeah, can't exactly use a jetpack in SOTC.
Oh well.
I have 2 Colossi I think I can build.

Which ones? I haven't played this game yet, but I've heard of it. Did you know that there's a SoTC costume kit in LBP? And if you like SoTC, maybe you should try Ico.

Re: Shadow of the Colossus
I have SoTC costume kit.
I have tried to buy Ico. The game store owner told me if he did have it, I'd have to wrestle him for it.
The Colossi I think I can build are the water snake one and the sand dragon one. I'll go look up their numbers for you.
